EHarts Online Market and Updates

EHarts Market – A weekend of firsts…

Last weekend, I took part in my first ever online market!

I want to firstly say a massive thank you to Emily Harvey for hosting the event – I know that there was a lot of work going on in the background to get everything set up for all the different makers, and then on the weekend she was on instagram live with a few different people.

It was a weekend of firsts for me, my first online market and, I even managed to find enough brave to go live with another artist where we talked a bit about running a small business whilst living with chronic health conditions & the adaptions we make in order to run a business, there was a few techie issues so unfortunately it wasn’t saved to go back and watch but what came out of it was that we would like to do another one.

One of my goals for the weekend was to build connections and network, and I honestly feel like I came away from the weekend feeling good about that! Thank you to everyone who came along and said hello, commented on posts and shared my work – it honestly means the world to me.

I bought the most adorable sloth print and hedgehog pin from an Etsy seller – I’ll add a link here so you can check her out.

What else has been happening?

I’ve finished one of the big projects I’ve been working on, designing some artwork based on the Acres Of Sky EP by Chris Lyttle, I’m really proud of how it has turned out and I know that I’ll be offering it as a print in the coming weeks. The other project I’ve been working on has been an illustration project which is still ongoing for a while yet. I’ll be adding short clips on my instagram page of the process from time to time. (Are you following me on Instagram? – I really do think you should be!)

Self initiated work

Because some of the projects I’ve been working on have been more illustrative, I’ve been making some self initiated abstract pieces which I’m building into a small collection called “Pastel Dreams” – I’ll be adding more as I go, but the first piece is now available in my shop on a small range of products. Click or tap here to go straight to the shop. I’m really proud of how these pieces are taking shape but I’ll be adding them slowly to the shop between the illustration work. However, if there has been a piece that you’ve seen on my instagram page that you would really like to have as a print or on a product, please do get in touch with me and I’ll make it the next one to be added.

Thank you again.

So, to round up – big thank you to Emily for putting together the market last weekend, and to everyone who got in touch, cheered me on and generally supported me. I’ve finished one of the big projects, working on another and making self initiated pieces.

Lots of love,
